The Town of Ocean Isle Beach now charges for parking in public spaces during daytime.  You can go to the city government site for details.  You can purchase an annual pass or a temporary pass.  All golf carts listed here (the ones that are extras and the ones included with several of the houses) have had the annual pass purchased, so you can park in all public areas without needing to purchase a permit.  Very convenient.
