PROPERTY DESCRIPTION

The back of this home is directly fronted on a canal waterway.  These canals are manmade.  Some of the older canals have natural edges, and the newer ones have nicer concrete sides to them.  7 Leland is on one of the concrete canals, with deep water,  and can handle boat travel, even at low tide. This canal waterway is tied into the Intracoastal Waterway a short distance away.  At Ocean Isle Beach, there is a "beach access"  street every several blocks.  Leland Street is one of the "beach access"  streets, so the walk to the beach is a straight shot from the house of approximately 150 yards.   

Leland is in a very quiet and peaceful part of the island, as well, making this an outstanding spot for a family group of all ages.    The home is located in the east central part of the island, about 14 blocks from the main island road.    

The home is nicely furnished, with a focus on "casual".  Everything is modern, fresh, and clean.   It is beachy and bright.  The décor is bright and airy and well furnished throughout . 

On the main floor are 2 bedrooms, each with private baths, one with a king bed and one with 2 doubles.  Upstairs are 2 bedrooms and separate loft.  There are also 2 full baths, upstairs.  The master bedroom on main level has a King, and the other bedroom on the main level has 2 Double Beds.  Upstairs is a bedroom with a King, one with 2 double beds, plus the open loft area with 2 Trundle beds, a great area for the kids. The home is set up for a capacity of 14, although it has bedding for 16.

Kid Friendly?  Absolutely- the best- It is especially equipped with essentials for families with children. (including two portacribs, bumbo seat, booster seat, frog potty chair, plastic outdoor kiddie pool and Little Tykes water table, Thomas the Train table (if requested), dolls… etc).  The video library is enormous.  The waterside yard is also completely fenced there is also a gate at the top of the deck steps that latches.   This home even has a changing table for little ones in diapers.  There is also a nice child car seat with base, if needed.  The street is extremely quiet and this home is only a few steps from the beach on a beach access street (see the photo shot towards the beach on this page).  Last, but not least- the included golf cart is something that really helps get you around in a fun way.

The kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, microwave and disposal.  The dining room table seats 8 with extra seating at the bar.  There is a very spacious great room with lot's of seating.  Outside are a lovely screened porch and a large sun porch with rockers,  perfect to watch the sun set over the canal.  There is a dock which kids love to use for fishing and swimming. 

Some of the great features included with the price are... golf cart, bikes, kayak, private dock with seating, ladder for canal swimming, floats, beach chairs, fishing poles, crab pot, great deck seating on street side and canal side, 6tvs, VCRs (and great library of tapes), DVD players, board games and card games. This home has a very nice book library for the "readers" in your family (if you take a book, leave one to replace it).   There are outdoor lounging areas on three levels including a picnic table, Webber charcoal grill, porch swing, hammocks, rocking chairs, and outdoor shower with hot and cold water. And much more.  These extras all provide a nice touch for families and make 7 Leland a great value and a great family choice.

4 bedrooms, plus loft area - functions like a 5 bedroom home - 2 kings, 4 doubles, 2 twins, each with added trundle, 4 baths, central H/A, TV's and ceiling fans in all rooms.
