SLEEPS 14, APPROX 1750 SQUARE FEET IN SIZE, plus another 1000 sf cooled garage underneath-unfinished, but has bathroom frig and is livable.

THIS PROPERTY HAS COMPUTER, PRINTER, and RoadrunnerInternetService.     OTHER THAN OTHER PROPERTIES ON THIS WEB SITE, THERE ARE ONLY A FEW VACATION RENTALS ON THE ENTIRE ISLAND WITH THIS OUTSTANDING AMENITY. 

Please read the very long amenity list on this property.  If you ponder how easy this home makes your vacation, the activities it provides, and the "activity money" you will save with this property, there is not a better value.  All of this, plus a very nice home, too.

4.5  Bedrooms and 4 Baths, plus full outdoor private shower with h/c water- THIS HOME FEATURES A VERY LARGE FAMILY ROOM AND NICE-SIZED KITCHEN.  THIS IS A 2-LEVEL HOME.  THE MAIN FLOOR HAS 2 BEDROOMS AND THE UPSTAIRS HAS 2.5 BEDROOMS, INCLUDING THE  MASTER BEDROOM (MBR HAS A PRIVATE BATH).   THERE IS 1 HALLWAY BATHROOM ON MAIN FLOOR AND 1 HALLWAY BATHROOM ON THE TOP LEVEL.  ADDITIONALLY, THE MASTER BEDROOM ON THE TOP FLOOR HAS A (SMALL) FULL PRIVATE BATH WITH WALKIN SHOWER.  THE FOURTH BATHROOM IS A FULL BATHROOM WITH A STAND-UP SHOWER AND IS LOCATED ON GROUND LEVEL IN THE GAME ROOM.  THIS 4TH BATHROOM IS "UNFINISHED"  IN QUALITY, BUT HAS A FUNCTIONING TOILET, SINK, AND SHOWER.  LASTLY, THERE IS ALSO AN OUTDOOR SHOWER THAT HAS A PRIVACY ENCLOSURE AND HAS HOT AND COLD WATER.  

ANOTHER OUTSTANDING FEATURE IS A FULLY ENCLOSED UNDERNEATH WITH GREAT GAMEROOM, INCLUDING POOL TABLE, PING PONG TABLE AND VIDEO GAME MACHINE.  

The bedding is set up to allow a lot of flexibility in group mix.  There are 1 kings, 2 queens, and a double, a very nice setup for 4 couples.  There is an extra twin bed in each room that has a queen, plus an extra double bed in the upstairs bedroom that has a double bed.  There is a small offset room adjacent to 1 of the upstairs bedrooms that is a great room to handle 2 small children.  There is 1 twin bed  and a children's sofa that folds out into a "mini" child's bed (4' long).   This home can handle a variety of group mixes.  This room can handle 1 adult.  This home can very comfortably handle 12 people.  Our capacity is 14.  While it can handle 14, it will be a little crowded at 14.

The back of this home is directly fronted on a canal waterway.  These canals are manmade.  Some of the older canals have natural edges, and the newer ones have nicer concrete sides to them.  45 Newport is on one of the concrete canals.  The concrete canals have good channel depth, and can handle boat travel, even at low tide. This canal waterway is tied into the Intercoastal Waterway a short distance away.  At Ocean Isle Beach, there is a "beach access"  street every several blocks.  Scotland is one street (block) over, about 100 yards, from a  "beach access"  street, so the walk to the beach is easy and convenient.  It is about a 10 minute walk of about 700 yards.  The home has a covered screened deck on the back for shade in the afternoons.  The open deck is a great early morning relaxing area.  The home is located in the central part of the island, 7 blocks from the main island road, far enough to have the peace and quiet, but very walkable (or short bike ride) from the house to the island pavilion, stores, pier, waterslide, and other attractions in the small business district of Ocean Isle. This is a great location for a boat, near the end of the canal and close to the Intercoastal waterway.  

This home is very nicely furnished.  Everything is modern, fresh, and clean.   The home is not luxurious, as its goal is "casual comfort".  It is beachy and bright.   This home has a very large great room living area.  In addition to the exits in the front and back of the house, there is an interior exit downstairs to the enclosed garage (covering about 1000 sq feet, that has been converted to a game room with pool table, ping pong table and video games.  There are facilities and an extra refrigerator in the underneath.  This is one of the very nice features of this property.  We do not know of any other property in this price range that includes a ping pong and pool table.  There is good separation between the bedrooms and enough bathrooms to allow nice privacy for 2-3 families.   All of the bedrooms are very good-sized.  This home has  large tv's, dvd, computer with High Speed Internet Access (Roadrunner), printer,  plus much more.   This floor plan is also designed to have every square foot be usable as livable area.  Everything about its setup is intended to make a family vacation more enjoyable, easier, and to make this a fun house that provides exceptional value for our guests' vacation dollars. 

This unit is NO SMOKING, NO PETS, and HOUSE PARTIES  are not permitted.

HOME DETAILS AMENITIES-INDOOR AND OUTDOOR
  • Approx 1750 square feet, plus 1000 extra unfinished feet with gameroom
  • 2br on main level, 2.5 br upstairs with nice bedroom separation for for maximum privacy for each bedroom
  • Central A/C and heat-Brand New heat pump upstairs.  Separate unit and thermostat for each floor (when we bought this house, it had 1 unit for the whole house, which we partitioned to cool the main floor with a dedicated 4-ton unit, plus an extra unit (1.5 ton)  for the upstairs, so there is plenty of cooling power for large groups.  Many of the older 2 level homes have 1 unit for the entire house, so if you are looking at one of these properties, always ask.
