PICTURES OF 45 SCOTLAND, STARTING WITH THE EVENING VIEW FROM THE BACK DECK LOOKING TOWARDS THE SUNSET AND INTERCOASTAL WATERWAY. This home is very up-to-date, but we have given it a new freshening during the spring of 2004. The back yard fencing and dock ladder were added in 2004.
Exterior photos, above. Above is a view of the family/great room. The first photo is from the kitchen area and the second photo was taken from the back deck exit door way. The room features a large dining table that will seat 8-10 (plus there is seating for 6 in the kitchen), that is very open with lots of seating, and large window/view opening to the back deck and canal waterway.
In the first photo is a breakfast table (4 chairs) to the left, the breakfast bar to the right (2 nice bar stools with backs), and in the center is a short hallway to front door entrance, with laundry room to the left. In the second photo, you see a better view of the full kitchen with up-to-date appliances, including a large oversized sink and over-stove microwave. The refrigerator is the over-under style with an icemaker in the freezer. In addition to the refrigerator in this picture, we have a second full-sized refrigerator in the rec room, underneath the house. Below is the window view from the kitchen table.
BEDROOMS-BELOW
These are the 4 1/2 bedrooms, configured as follows: 1. upstairs streetside- 2 double beds 2. downstairs streetside - 1 queen and 1 double (can only fully see 1 of the beds in photo) 3. upstairs canal waterside with private balcony and exit, as well as private full bath - 1 king bed 4. downstairs canal water side - 1 queen and 1 twin 5. the fifth bedroom is a small bedroom with a low ceiling adjacent to the upstairs streetside bedroom- it is set up as a kid's room with a regular twin bed and 1 sofa fold-out junior bed-
In the garage/rec room which is 100% enclosed under the house we have a pool table and ping pong table. Above is the pool table and ping pong table. Also shown is our 80 gallon hot water heater and full-sized "extra" refrigerator, both located in the garage underneath the house. The rec room is unfinished, but stays dry and fairly cool (if you keep the garage doors closed), even in summer. There is a full bathroom in the rec room. There is seating and other cozy things making it a very nice recreational area for the family.
The above golf cart is included in the rental price. This is a street vehicle, requiring a separate rental agreement and additional security deposit. You CAN opt out of the golf cart and we will reduce the rental fee by $100 for summer guests. Visitors since January 20, 2004:
