| This
home is a very nicely furnished shotgun-style
home (center living
area flanked by 2 bedrooms on each side) and is a great setup for privacy for the
extended family. There is an enclosed
extra room on the canal side of the house, which
is like a sitting room with nice views of the
waterway. It has a sleeper sofa in it,
which can function as a fifth sleeping area.
There is an extra room on the ground floor that
is cooled and has a couch and TV-DVD in
it. It is not a sleeping area but does
function like a second small den, a great place
for the kids to hang out.
Features
of this home include Wireless HighSpeed internet, private dock with crab
pot, plus a couple bikes.

is a great home for 2 families. The above bedroom
located on the right side of the house, streetside,
also has a king bed in it. Two bedrooms with king
beds is a very nice feature for the extended family
group.
This
is the streetside view of 37 Concord. There is
ample parking for several cars, including a boat if you
bring one, and room to park underneath the house.

37 Concord- Narrative on
home: The back of this
home is directly fronted on a canal waterway. These canals are
manmade. This home has a very nice fence around the back yard and a very
wide walkout to the private boat dock, which also has a gate. Concord Street is one of the
"beach access" streets, so the walk to the beach is a straight
shot
from the house of approximately 475 yards. The home is located in the central part of the island,
only about 4 blocks
from the main island road, far enough to have the peace and quiet, but very
walkable (or short bike ride) from the house to the island pavilion, stores,
pier, waterslide, and other attractions in the small business district of Ocean
Isle. If you have a boat, Concord Street has a great and quick access to
the Intracoastal Waterway.
This home is very
nicely furnished. Everything is modern, fresh, and clean. The
home is not luxurious, as its goal is "casual comfort". It is
beachy and bright. The floor plan is commonly know as the "shotgun
style" or "Ocean Isle Bungalow". That is, a central large
combination living area, dining area, and kitchen, that is flanked by a pair of
bedrooms on each side. This floor plan allows for maximum privacy with the
bedrooms, and is a very good choice for a group with 2 families vacationing
together. All of the bedrooms are on one main level. The extra
sitting room on the waterside of the house is a "nice touch".
The sleeper sofa will provide some extra privacy for that teenager in the
family. This floor plan
is also designed to have every square foot be usable as livable area. The
laundry room is separate and on the ground floor in a bonus room.
This is a very nice place.
