PROPERTY DESCRIPTION

The back of this home is directly fronted on a canal waterway.  These canals are manmade.  Some of the older canals have natural edges, and the newer ones have nicer concrete sides to them.  25 Leland is on one of the concrete canals, with deep water,  and can handle boat travel, even at low tide. This canal waterway is tied into the Intracoastal Waterway a short distance away.  At Ocean Isle Beach, there is a "beach access"  street every several blocks.  Leland Street is one of the "beach access"  streets, so the walk to the beach is a straight shot from the house of approximately 300 yards.   This home has a very nice covered deck that protects provides nice relaxing sitting areas.  While this canal front home is not ocean front, one of the spectacular "view" features is the sunsets from the deck.  This home is positioned to get great views of colorful sunsets.  Leland is in a very quiet and peaceful part of the island, as well, making this an outstanding spot for a family group of all ages.    The home is located in the east central part of the island, about 14 blocks from the main island road.    

The home is fairly new and has upscale furnishings, with a focus on "casual".  This home falls in the middle of the categories of "Comfortable Luxury" and "Casual Comfort".  Everything is modern, fresh, and clean.   It is beachy and bright.  The décor is bright and airy and well furnished throughout . 

On the main floor are 2 bedrooms, each with private baths, one with a queen bed and one with 2 doubles.  Upstairs are 3 bedrooms.  One features a king and one with two doubles.  The third upstairs bedroom has its own private bath,  two twins and its own TV/VCR, perfect for the kids.  The kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, microwave and disposal.  The dining room table seats 8 with extra seating at the bar.  There is a very spacious great room with lot's of seating.  Outside are a lovely screened porch and a large sun porch with rockers,  perfect to watch the sun set over the canal.  There is a dock which kids love to use for fishing and swimming. 

A crabbing (cage)  pot is provided along with rods and reels. If you would like a ride on the island, a bicycle is available and included in the price.  Beach chairs are also provided for your convenience.     

5 bedrooms (1 king, 1 queen, 4 doubles, 2 singles), 4 baths, central H/A, ceiling fans in all rooms, microwave, dishwasher, disposal, icemaker, W/D, phone, 2 CCTV's, VCR, covered deck, screened deck, outside shower, dock.

  • Maid Service is included in ALL WEEKLY PRICES-for partial week rentals, add $130.  We generally allow self-cleaning in all months except June-August 26 and Holiday Periods.   A reduction in rent will be allowed for off season weekly guests, when self-cleaning is permitted.

  • Prices are subject to change, anytime, until your reservation is confirmed with a signed, accepted contract.

  • Surcharges will apply to prices above for Value and Offseason periods that include a holiday.

  •  Prices may be reduced even further during value and off season, if you have a small group.  Call or email if you have an interest.
