PROPERTY DESCRIPTION

This home is ideally located on a canal waterway.  These canals are manmade.  Some of the older canals have natural edges. The newer ones have nicer concrete sides to them.  25 Leland is on one of the newer concrete canals, with deep water, which can handle boat travel, even at low tide. This canal waterway gives easy access to the Intracoastal Waterway a short distance away.  At Ocean Isle Beach, there are "beach access" streets which are considered an optimal location. They give easy, quick access to the beach. .  This home is located on one of the "beach access" streets, so the walk to the beach is a straight shot of 1 ˝ blocks from the house.

This home has a very nice covered deck that protects and provides nice relaxing sitting areas with multiple rockers and lounge chairs. Additionally, a screened porch provides extra seating for meals or relaxing. One of the spectacular "view" features of the canal front homes are the stunning sunsets enjoyed from the deck and porch. Leland is in a very quiet and peaceful part of the island making this an outstanding spot for a family group of all ages.

The home is up-to-date with fresh furnishings, with a focus on "casual".  This home falls in the middle of the categories of "Comfortable Luxury" and "Casual Comfort".  Everything is modern, fresh, and clean.    The décor is beachy, bright, airy and well-furnished throughout with an emphasis on comfort. The kitchen is well equipped and newly updated with stainless steel appliances.

The home is very spacious and features 5 bedrooms and 4 baths. On the main floor are 2 bedrooms, each with a private bath. Bedroom 1 has a king size bed with the 2nd bedroom having 2 doubles.  Upstairs are 3 bedrooms.  One features a king and one with two doubles. These two bedrooms have an adjoining bath.  The third upstairs bedroom has a queen bed with private bath.  The kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, glass top stove, microwave and disposal.  The dining room table seats 8 with extra seating at the bar.  There is a very spacious great room with lots of seating, cathedral ceiling and fan. Outside a lovely screened porch features dining for 4. The large sun porch has numerous rockers and seating-   perfect to watch the sun set over the canal as the boats come and go.     The dock, which kids love to use for fishing and swimming, is perfect for boating.  

The owners strive to provide many extras to make your stay more memorable and fun.  Two bicycles are included for your use making exploring the island an easy task.  Numerous beach chairs, sand toys and floats are on hand for your use.  Also included for the adults are two kayaks to paddle the canals in. Inside you will find high speed internet and premium cable.  Also included are Netflix, HULU, Amazon TV and HBOGO so there should never be a problem finding a good movie or series to watch while relaxing from a busy day on the beach. All of these extras are provided at no charge making this home tough to beat!

KAYAK - can handle 2 smaller people or 1 adult and 1 child very easily.  It is a nice rubberized kayak (there are 2) with paddles.  The kayaks are light and easy to maneuver.
