This is a very nice place which boasts spaciousness for the price.  It has been recently refurbished and is fresh and cheery throughout.  This wonderful canal home is very close to the beach, about a 3 minute walk (250 yds) on a beach access street.  

This property is on Raeford St, a beach access street and is only 200 yards from the beach access.  Raeford is the handicap access.  Above is a picture of the beach access ramp- NO STEPS.

 The home contains 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths.

Bathrooms:

Between the 2 bedrooms on the main floor there is a very nice sized shared Jack-and-Jill bathroom.  There is an additional 1/2 bath with direct access off of the Great Room.   Upstairs bathroom setup for the bedrooms is the same Jan-and-Jill-style as the main level.   

Living Areas and Other: 

Very large family room, which is one of the nice features of this home.  Kitchen opens nicely into the great room.  Clean colors very attractive bedspreads.  Large bedrooms.  You have room to spread out here.  Lowest price per square foot of living area, in our group.  The extra "nook-style" loft area is great and is quite large, making it a very comfortable space, as well.  

There is plenty of seating (8) in the large dining area with additional seating (4) at the kitchen bar.   

As with all of the houses on our site, there is a nice enclosed outside shower with both hot and cold water.

There are have beach chairs, blankets, umbrellas, coolers, reusable icepacks, and picnic baskets for lounging on the beach. For beach fun, beach balls, Frisbees, and games are available for your use. 

A full compliment of cooking equipment is available for your use.  There is even a food processor and bread machine. 

Views:

Great views from deck, overlooking the canal waterway.  Partial Ocean Views from 2 streetside bedroom balconies.

Entertainment: 

For entertaining, there is a large open living room with a bar area and entertainment center.   There is a TV, DVD, VCR, a collection of movies for and disks all ages.  There are games galore for the family to enjoy, even poker chips and cards for a game of Texas Holdem.   The loft area is up for kid fun, far enough away for privacy, but within earshot of watchful parents.

Bikes and Kayak are also included.

Time Warner Cable and High Speed Wireless Internet access.   There is a charcoal grill on the concrete slab on the ground floor under the house. There is a large crab trap and a throwing net.  A 2-seater sit-on-top kayak is also a bonus with this home.

(Saturday to Saturday, 7 Night Minimum) Daily and Monthly rates available September through April Sales tax of 12.75%. Refundable $400 security deposit required 

Cleaning fee of $125.00  is included in all weekly rentals, but additional on nightly rentals.

Sales tax of 12.75% is extra.  There are no reservation fees.  Surcharges may apply during Holiday periods that fall in off-season periods.  Additional discounts may be available for smaller groups during off-season periods.

Refundable Security deposit of $400.

End-of-stay cleaning fee of $125 is included in all weekly bookings.  Cleaning fee+tax is extra for all partial week bookings.
